Separation: the separation period by when Rune returns to Georgia is also significant in this book. We see what distance does to their relationship. We see how he reacts to being cut off from Poppy. We see him grapple with her explanation to her distance too.

Characters
The central character of this book Poppy and Rune. Both of them poles apart, their love keeping them together. We discover their likes and dislikes and more importantly we discover how they love another, how deeply and intensely.

Poppy and Rune might be young but their love is deep and they show us exactly how through this book. What I personally loved about this book was how deep the emotions were. They were so deep they had me tearing up. If you are looking for a tear-jerker pick this book up.
